Scientific laboratory stand


In the “Modern Electronics Elements and Technologies” research center the electrotechnical scientific laboratory stand has been created.

Usability.

The stand is intended to be used in laboratory practical training sessions in such academic subjects as “Electrical engineering”, “Basics of electrical engineering” and similar.

The stand provides opportunuties for the execution of the following laboratory works:

  1. Studying linear DC circuits;
  2. Studying nonlinear DC circuits;
  3. Studying linear AC circuits;
  4. Studing the working of a single-phase transformer;
  5. Studing single-phase transformer’s circuits - star connection;
  6. Studing single-phase transformer’s circuits - delta connection;
  7. Studing the working of a DC motor.

SPECIAL PURPOSE SIGNAL GENERATOR

PRIZE-WINNER OF THE “GOLDEN CHIP” CONTEST IN THE “BEST RUSSIAN ELECTRONICS AND MICROELECTRONICS PRODUCTS 2009-2010” NOMINATION.



Special purpose signal generator is designed to analyze the functioning of created or tested devices. It can be used as a signal generator in science research of digital signal processing and filtration, as well as in educational process of laboratory practical training sessions in major academic subjects.

The generator combines four devices in one:

  • sinusoidal, rectangular and triangular waveform generators with 10..150 kHz frequency band (4 sub-bands) for the determination of the operating characteristics of the testing device.
  • 10..16 MHz (5 sub-bands) frequency band random-noise generator to create the distorted signals to reproduce the worst case scenario.
  • sinusoidal, rectangular and triangular waveform generators are provided an opportunity for the fine frequency regulation within the sub-band limits


All generators provide the opportunuty for the separate amplitude regulation of output signals over the 0..1.5V range.

NOISE-TYPE SIGNAL GENERATOR




Usability.

Measurement devices, digital filtering.
The generator is intended to be used in science researches  as a signal source in digital filtering analysis, as well as in educational process of laboratory practical training sessions in the following subjects: “Digital signal processing methods and devices”, “Digital signal processing and signal processors”.

Short description.

The generator consists of harmonic oscillations source in the 10..100 kHz frequency band, analog and discrete noise sources in the 0.25..1 MHz band, mixer, output amplifier and power supply module. Separate amplitude regulation of output signal waveforms is possible in the limits 0..1V.

Application domains.

Programmable analog electronics.
Hardware and software resources let the stand be used for science researches and for educational process of laboratory practical training sessions in the following subjects: “Electronics”, “Functional parts of electronic devices”.

Short description.

The stand provides the opportunity for carrying out the following laboratory works:

- - studying the software controlling multifunctional generator;
- studying wideband programmable gain amplifier;
- studying a class D power amplifier;
- studying control modes of the LED indicator;.

The stand was created using Analog Devices evaluating boards. Additionally it contains the stabilized power supply and electronic commutation device, which exclude hardware collisions while functioning.

FUNCTIONAL ELECTRONICS LABORATORY BENCH

The stand was created using Analog Devices evaluating boards. It consists of a programmable waveform generator AD9833EB, variable gain amplifier AD603EB, power amplifier SSM2211EB, stabilized power supply and electronic commutation device, which exclude hardware collisions while functioning. Hardware and software resources let the stand be used for science researches and for educational process of laboratory practical training sessions in such subjects as “Electronics”, “Functional parts of electronic devices” and others.


SET OF CONTROL AND MEASUREMENT EQIUPMENT

It is intended for scientific research and educational process (101/102 series). The set consists of a power supply БП-101, dual-trace oscilloscope C1-101, multimeter РВ7-101, millivoltmeter B3-101, capacitance meter E8-101, modified capacitance meter E8-102, standard signal generator with amplitude modulation Г4-101, FM variable-frequency oscillator Г4-102 with frequency modulation, swept frequency generator Г8-101, low-frequency generator Г3-101 and frequency meter Ч3-101.


ELECTRONICS LABORATORY STAND

The stand is intended for carrying out eight laboratory works dealing with analog electronics. The stand provides the oportunity for carrying out analog electronics laboratory works and is used in laboratory practical training sessions in the following subjects “Electrical engineering and electronics”, “Electronics” of different specialties “Informatics and control” department. The stand consists of necessary measurement units (AC, DC milliamperemeters and voltmeters, low frequency signal generator).An oscilloscope can also be linked up to the stand in order to study the modes of operation of amplifiers.

The laboratory is equipped with six stands.


DIGITAL CIRCUITRY ENGINEERING LABORATORY STAND

Stand is intended for carrying out eight laboratory works dealing with digital electronics. The stand is used in laboratory practical training sessions in the following subjects: “Electrical engineering and electronics”, “Digital field” of different specialties “Informatics and control” department. Constructively the stand is designed as a panel, which can be connected to the base part of the laboratory stand for studying analog electronics via connectors. All the necessary control elements and indicators are placed on the panel.

The laboratory is equipped with six stands.

NOISE-TYPE SIGNAL GENERATOR Г2-101А

The device is used in scientific research and educational process and is to be used for digital filtration algorithms analysis. The laboratory is equipped with five similar generators working simultaneously with ADSP-BF533 from ANALOG DEVICES.
